Why do want to join the Navy: To add my contribution for our republic and its best interests. I believe it'll also allow one to learn a great deal of useful and downright necessary skills, on top of encouraging personal growth.

Biography: Originating from New Thessalonica, Coronado, Cornelia grew up as an only child in a small mansion. Her family consisted of only her father (then a wealthy military man) and herself for majority of her life, after her mother passing when the girl was only seven years old. She still to this day does not know why she died, as the reason nor the mother was ever talked about by the two of them, all attempts instantly shut down. With no other known relatives, she has long since accepted and made peace with ignorance. The only memory of her mom she holds onto is her mother's whimsical, old school dress-up style, and the room she resides in - previously the bedroom belonging to her mother.

After Cornelia's mom passed, her father became overprotective and extremely restrictive of her, in fear of losing the only other person in his life. However, golden cage is still just a cage; this went well until Cornelia's teenage years, when the girl started to get curious about the world and its wonders - leading to numerous rebellious acts that would only hinder the father's and daughter's relationship. Screaming, neglect and other emotional - and sometimes physical - abuse was not unfamiliar in the household. Everything the father did was, as he put it, for the sake of "protecting" her. She, on the other hand, did not want to be protected. Cornelia wanted to experience life like any teenager; get wasted, shoplift, have one night stands and party. Naturally these two world views clashed radically, leading Cornelia to eventually be sent to a strict all-girls boarding school shortly before her 18th birthday. Her frequent escape attempts as well as her defiant attitude and her eccentric clothing proved quite problematic during her years. Both teachers and other students gave her a hard time, the girl facing constant bullying, skipped classes and other constant misdemeanors, ultimately prolonging her studies by a year.

With many bumps in the way, she ended up graduating with Bachelor's at 22, moving back to the only place she had ever called a home. Unfortunately, things were only good for a few weeks before they were back to normal, Cornelia's father trying to control his daughters comings and goings once again. Cornelia got herself a stable little job for "pocket money", but started saving up in secret in hopes of soon making an escape from Planet Yuma.
After enduring the next almost two years keeping her head low and her mouth shut, the girl made her final plan. After months of careful research and planning, she finally fulfilled her dream of being free from her gilded cage. One night of June of 835, she stole the access card to one of her father's small ships. With no prior experience in flying, her only source of knowledge on starting and controlling a ship being from her extensive research, it was a miracle she made it to Pennsylvania alive and in one piece.

Within the Pennsylvania airspace she met Samantha Brown, the Captain of the LNS-Akhetaten, who assisted her safely to Manhattan and helped her settle in. Getting acquainted with the Liberty Navy captain inspired Cornelia to acquire new skills and equipment to play around with; currently she's enjoying remote-controlling modified repair- and scanner drones to assist ships in need. After a few serious conversations and a continuous nudging from Samantha the girl ended up applying to the Forty-Sixth Fleet, opening an entirely new future of possibilities for herself.
