Liberty Navy 46th Fleet Security Clearance: < GRANTED >
Sender ID: Fleet Admiral Martin Kemp-Smith
Recipient ID: Lt Cmdr W. Thompson
Subject: RE: Application Response
Commander Thompson,
You're application has been considered as a lateral transfer. Given your service record and accomplishments, should you consider them as such, I'm pleased to inform you that your application has been successful.
You will retain your rank of Lieutenant Commander, along with the crew and assigned officers of the Concord. However, be advised, you will be joining the ranks of officers with more experience operating within the Forty-sixth. I expect nothing less of the upmost professionalism throughout your tenure of the Fleet and being a role model to the junior officers, which you will now command and work alongside others of the same grade. That said, you will be paid the same customs and courtesies due to your rank and position.
Report in to our Headquarters, Norfolk Shipyard, for assignment and familiarization. You'll meet the officers you'll serve alongside and those who will command you and they'll give you a briefing as to duties and expectations of you, now that you are assigned to a Primary Fleet of the Liberty Navy. You'll then be taken to the Quartermaster, who will assign you new gear and equipment.
Welcome to the Fleet, Lieutenant Commander.
