Incorrect. Reducing one isn't the same as increasing the other. The difference in the result is the same where functionally they are still different.
They are functionally the same because econ would obviously tinker with the ore drop rates to achieve the desired baseline output. I figured that part did not have to be spelled out explicitly.
My remarks are more about the public perception of the change, anyway. People don't like seeing number go down. They like to see number go up. If you have to tweak something, do it through number go up whenever you can.
