KANSAS SYSTEM EXPLORATION
This report covers the patrol of the Kansas system, conducted alongside Agents "Anubis" and "Melusine". Prior to the operation, I was stationed at Barrier Gate in the Coronado system. After receiving mission details, I left the station and moved to our meeting point in Vespucci via the following route: Coronado → Inverness → Ontario → California → Magellan → Vespucci. During my flight, I encountered two independent traders near Planet Los Angeles. No contact was initiated, but a brief scan revealed nothing suspicious in their cargo holds.
Upon arrival in Vespucci, I moved to Atacama Station, where Agents "Anubis" and "Melusine" were already waiting. After a quick resupply, our team initiated the operation and moved toward the Kansas system jump hole.
After entering Kansas, the first notable object we encountered was an abandoned Liberty Navy battlecruiser. The cause of its derelict state remains unclear. Scans confirmed the absence of life signs, and the vessel's systems were either destroyed or missing entirely. Like other wrecks observed later, it was deemed unrecoverable or not worth the cost of salvage. We continued our investigation through the debris fields. Among the destroyed ships were several Liberty Navy and Insurgency vessels. Eventually, we arrived at the remains of Fort Riley.
Historical records indicate that the Insurgency had anticipated a full-scale joint offensive by Liberty and Bretonia against Vespucci. In preparation, they consolidated forces from multiple stations to establish a unified defense. However, the offensive did not proceed as expected: only a small Bretonian detachment, consisting mostly of destroyers, arrived — Liberty’s fleet never joined. The Bretonian unit was defeated with surprising ease, leaving major installations like Fort Riley and Mulvane Station vulnerable. Both were later overrun by Liberty forces during a high-intensity siege spearheaded by the Delaware battlegroup.
After scanning Fort Riley, we moved to Planet Wichita. The planet is nearly entirely covered in ocean, with only scattered islands breaching the surface. These landmasses host the ruins of several failed colonization attempts. In orbit, we found several wrecks — a mix of Liberty Navy vessels and fighters. Agent Melusine conducted a perimeter sweep, but no unusual signals or anomalies were detected.
Our final stop was the wreck of Mulvane Station, orbiting the gas giant Planet Topeka. Among the debris, we discovered a destroyed Insurgency cruiser and — notably — a still-operational communication satellite. According to our analysis, this satellite predates Liberty's offensive in the region and was not constructed by Libertonian forces.
After completing our scans and recording the site, we returned to Vespucci without incident. All collected visual records and location coordinates are attached to this report.

[03.08.2025 11:06:37] 34th|Anubis: Guten Tag Cobra. What's your status?
[03.08.2025 11:07:09] 34th|Cobra: Greetings, everything fine, preparing to dock with Atacama and ready to operate.
[03.08.2025 11:07:34] 34th|Anubis: Alright, we're ready. Let's move to Kansas.
[03.08.2025 11:08:55] 34th|Anubis: Here.
[03.08.2025 11:09:09] 34th|Anubis: Meine Got.
[03.08.2025 11:09:35] 34th|Anubis: Mein Gott, we just a battlecruiser behind us when jumped out.
[03.08.2025 11:09:44] 34th|Anubis: That one have Liberty Navy marks.
[03.08.2025 11:09:45] 34th|Melusine: Right off ze start.
[03.08.2025 11:10:51] 34th|Anubis: Alright, got a footage, structure data says that ship is absolute empty and cannot be recovered.
[03.08.2025 11:11:10] 34th|Anubis: I think such logic suits to other capitals we'd find here.
[03.08.2025 11:11:38] 34th|Melusine: Seems cracked to the core, oui. What do you ffink, was it blocking this hole off or just didn't get through?
[03.08.2025 11:11:42] 34th|Anubis: Navy did their best to take everything they can take from Insurgency and Navy ships sunked in Kansas and Vespucci.
[03.08.2025 11:11:55] 34th|Anubis: I think just didn't get through.
[03.08.2025 11:12:03] 34th|Anubis: Do not forget that was an assault operation, not blockade.
[03.08.2025 11:12:20] 34th|Anubis: Delaware was a good example what price Liberty paid for success of Veracruz siege.
[03.08.2025 11:12:25] 34th|Melusine: I don't think zat they wanted anyone to escape.
[03.08.2025 11:13:20] 34th|Anubis: With amount of ships passing through Pennsylvania to Kansas and then to Vespucci - I don't think it's even be possible to-
[03.08.2025 11:13:25] 34th|Anubis: any Insurgent pass trough that hole.
[03.08.2025 11:13:51] 34th|Anubis: Alright, if I am not wrong, there's two more locations left... Nein, three.
[03.08.2025 11:13:58] 34th|Anubis: We have to check them both and return on Atum.
[03.08.2025 11:14:03] 34th|Melusine: Yet here we are, having Legionnaires cuddling with the Technocracy.
[03.08.2025 11:14:27] 34th|Anubis: There's also buoys left.
[03.08.2025 11:15:14] 34th|Anubis: That one even rammed that cruiser!
[03.08.2025 11:15:23] 34th|Anubis: Maybe used it's siege gun during the ram.
[03.08.2025 11:17:16] 34th|Cobra: Smuglers had a good days when those were just left here.
[03.08.2025 11:17:28] 34th|Melusine: Are zey all made to be a ram?
[03.08.2025 11:19:03] 34th|Anubis: Nein, such cruisers used to be as artillery cannon. Like a big one. Cruiser-sized Valor if you need better explanation.
[03.08.2025 11:19:30] 34th|Anubis: No idea about the smugglers, by the way, Navy could just blockade whole debris fields and take all remnants by themselves.
[03.08.2025 11:19:33] 34th|Melusine: I am aware of Archeours, oui.
[03.08.2025 11:19:56] 34th|Melusine: We got on Liberty's borders, you know.
[03.08.2025 11:20:47] 34th|Cobra: Let's hope they don't have anything to do here for now.
[03.08.2025 11:27:10] 34th|Anubis: Alright, footage is done, let's get to Planet Wichita.
[03.08.2025 11:29:08] 34th|Anubis: That field is something like trying of Liberty navy to flank Insurgency when things started moving, I suppose.
[03.08.2025 11:29:25] 34th|Anubis: At least, that would be good explanation why Interdictor and Judicator met each other here.
[03.08.2025 11:29:33] 34th|Melusine: The orbit is clear, apart from zis one.
[03.08.2025 11:30:11] 34th|Melusine: How many losses, among ships and men alike...
[03.08.2025 11:30:41] 34th|Anubis: Ja, Liberty did a mistake while tried assault Vespucci. Such numbers of lost men.
[03.08.2025 11:31:00] 34th|Anubis: Alright, I think we're done here. Let's get to Topeka planet.
[03.08.2025 11:31:04] 34th|Melusine: Almost makes me respect ze Council. For far more successful approach.
[03.08.2025 11:31:26] 34th|Anubis: Ja, Council knew how to deal with Crown, honestly. If just take objective view.
[03.08.2025 11:33:23] 34th|Cobra: Looks like something still working here.
[03.08.2025 11:33:28] 34th|Anubis: Ja, this one.
[03.08.2025 11:33:35] 34th|Anubis: Communicaation satellite.
[03.08.2025 11:33:48] 34th|Melusine: Like zose near Veracruz, perhaps?
[03.08.2025 11:33:54] 34th|Anubis: Maybe Navy placed it or just decided to not destroy it.
[03.08.2025 11:35:44] 34th|Anubis: It seems all structures is empty here too.
[03.08.2025 11:35:45] 34th|Melusine: A biodome frozen into eternity. Poetical, isn't it?
[03.08.2025 11:36:12] 34th|Anubis: Ja...
[03.08.2025 11:37:07] 34th|Anubis: I think if someone decides to revive it - it would be possible but I do not think someone will even try to.
[03.08.2025 11:37:20] 34th|Anubis: At least, it would be big reconstruction not cost it.
[03.08.2025 11:38:40] 34th|Melusine: To buy a new one will be far far easier. Money and unattentiveness wise.
[03.08.2025 11:38:47] 34th|Anubis: Right.
[03.08.2025 11:39:17] 34th|Anubis: That communication satellite is old one, if I am not wrong, at least marks saying it was a Commonwhealth one, recently.
[03.08.2025 11:39:21] 34th|Anubis: Before things went out of hand.
[03.08.2025 11:40:04] 34th|Anubis: As for now, I think, that insallation belongs to DSE.
[03.08.2025 11:40:53] 34th|Anubis: Alright, I think we've done with that mission for now.
[03.08.2025 11:41:05] 34th|Anubis: We have to get back on Atum, report if you're ready to moving out.
[03.08.2025 11:41:07] 34th|Melusine: Initiative, more like, oui?
[03.08.2025 11:41:37] 34th|Cobra: Ready to departure.
[03.08.2025 11:41:38] 34th|Anubis: Let it be a mission. *smiles* But think as you want, untill there's no any order - ja, it's initiative.
[03.08.2025 11:41:47] 34th|Anubis: Officially we're not here.
[03.08.2025 11:42:12] 34th|Anubis: But since Atum is on repair and it's state with Gaians is unclear - we allowed to collect information we could collect if-
[03.08.2025 11:42:17] 34th|Anubis: it will play in our favor.
[03.08.2025 11:43:02] 34th|Anubis: Alright, get in formation and let's go back.
[03.08.2025 11:43:03] 34th|Melusine: "Officially" we are terrorists from wild far space, let's be real. *chuckles* Anyffing's good, as far as it's done with your -
[03.08.2025 11:43:07] 34th|Melusine: brain on.
