MEET THE MAN IN CHARGE

Ummmm... Ah—Grüße! Greetings! Yes, yes! Allow me to introduce myself: I am Dr. Dax Lorne, top-tier researcher, specialist in exotic particle physics, gas field dynamics, anomalous signal detection, and… well… whatever else catches my attention, really. Hehahah! Now officially retired from active lab service. But between you and me, that just means I finally have time to do the fun stuff. Frei wie ein Vogel! No chains, no limits!

Oh mein Gott, how I love my work... truly, deeply. It keeps me alive far more than any medication could. Though, sadly, not literally—I don’t expect to live forever, of course. Ha! No, I’ve run the numbers—and if I’m being honest, at my current rate of discovery, it’ll take me, hmmm... roughly a billion years to understand it all. Maybe more if I keep getting distracted by shiny objects or weird Nomad readings.

But anyway—Scheiße! I’ve gone off track again...
In short: I’m a coffee addict, a science glutton, and now, for the first time in my life, I have a playground of my very own! Dax’s Gas Miner—a beautiful station, slightly held together with duct tape and ambition, thanks to the generous and very tolerant people at Maric Metallurgical Labs.
