. . .
There is no emotion written on the girl's face. Considering her usual manner of communication, this is most likely an act of deliberate self-control. Her voice is also calm and clear.
"It is unpleasant, but not entirely surprising, to hear that name again so soon. As you know, I have a personal history with this woman, and unfortunately my impression of her may be tinged with bias. Nonetheless, I will try to separate facts from feelings, as I feel that it is mandatory to rely on the former in my current position."
"Miss Thorn has a certain charm that she is not shy about using to achieve her own ends. She makes connections easily and is quite likely to be just as quick to break them when necessary. Her loyalties are a mystery to me, but I suspect that her only true loyalty is to herself."
"In my opinion, such people can be dangerous and unpredictable if information carrying a certain power falls into their hands. But, of course, any stranger can potentially pose such a danger. Therefore, I see no reason to harm her in any way, and I do not urge anything other than caution. This, I think, sufficiently explains my view of her. However, as for her own view of me..."
The girl's lips curl into a smile for a couple moments before her face returns to its neutral expression.
"I tried my best to discourage her from any further interaction with me. And I have reasons to believe that I succeeded."
Pause. The girl exhales, rubs her temples, then smiles slightly.
"I look forward to our tasks in Liberty... Thank you for having me."
