♦ Description: Following the broadcast of the new governor of Planet Erie, the disgruntled masses that feel repressed by Liberty's presence are eager to strike a blow against the occupying forces.

It seems Liberty intends to try and project a safe and benevolent presence to the people on Erie, it will be your job to ensure that they fail.
You are tasked with disrupting the logistical network of Liberty, stop their supplies from arriving and the resistance groups on the surface will have an easier job with their protests.

To do so you are to target the trade lane network between West Point Military Academy and the Pennsylvania Jump Gate. we recommend striking at sector D6 in the Badlands, the Badlands are rife with Liberty Rogues and other enemies of Liberty that, if nothing else, will provide a distraction for you. Intercepting ten convoys should be enough to send them a message and cause significant delays in their resupply efforts.

There are some within the Zoner Militants that feel this assignment does not go far enough, they are offering a bonus of 800'000 credits for hitting Liberty where it hurts.
For this bonus payment you are to go straight into the atmosphere of Planet Manhattan and strike at one of the Liberty Police patrols keeping the skies of Manhattan safe. They regularly patrol at sector D5, roughly 15k above standard flight altitude. Be careful if you decide to go for this objective, striking at the beating heart of Liberty is not to be taken lightly.

You will be able to find a relatively safe entry into the planets atmosphere located directly opposite of Manhattans docking ring, behind the planet.

Mission Rules

This mission has the following additional rules:

• You can cooperate on missions, please provide the names of everyone that assisted in your DM. Please note that the rewards will be split between all participants.
  
• This mission is visible and acceptable for: Zoner Militants, Zoners, Liberty Rogues, Lane Hackers, Junkers, Xenos, Outcasts
  
• A typical Message Dump report (in character) with screenshots of: each intercepted transport (NPC's count as 1 per freighter or transport, Lawful Players of any kind count as double even if they are not trading), if going for the secondary objective a screenshot of a single Liberty Police NPC in the manhattan atmosphere is required as proof of having braved the encounter, if there are more NPC's remaining on scanner the screenshot is invalid for the reward.
  
• Reports from other players are not visible, only the mission itself.
  
• The first three MD's posted qualify for the reward, after three posts the mission is deemed completed and can no longer be claimed.
  
• It is impossible to claim the secondary reward if you have not done the primary mission as well.
  
• Kills or piracy demands are not required for the 10 trade interruptions, you are free to do so if your ID allows this but this is your own choice and not related to the bounty.
