I hope all has been well with our friends in Crayter, as recent developments have become quite concerning to both our people and the administration.
To begin, the Armed Forces were blindsided when Battlecruiser Momus began to depart the system for Crayter's territories in the south. This combined with reports of Gallic vessels being spotted in system has caused quite a stir in Lipari, and the Department of Defense has begun debating the implementation of marine security detachments for outbound traffic from Borneo. I've also been told that President Iltzmann has asked the Defense Department to accelerate plans for bringing the Armed Forces' destroyers back to operation.
In addition to this, we've received word from an attache with Greenleaf Transit that spoke of trouble in Coronado. They spoke of lightning, strange energy readings, and a considerable amount of damaged infrastructure, on top of alerts across all comm spectrums. They also noted strong visual readings from the Salina system. Has something happened, and are Yuma and Pecos safe?
Ms. Iltzmann has insisted that contact be made with Crayter regarding these matters, as she feels it is of the utmost concern to the Republic to ensure that all actions that can be taken to mitigate any possible damages are taken. It is my hope to hear from you soon, Minister.
