Dear Javier,

Thank you for a wonderful time at the villa. Your mother is the most amazing, heartwarming, and open woman I have ever met. From the first time we met, she insisted I call her "Mami." And while I know just a small bit of the language, I felt the warm embrace every time she mentioned it. The most fun thing was that as your mother and Anya got closer, Anya even called her "Mamá." Trust me when I say that the bond between Anya and your mother was a strong one. At times, I even felt like my daughter had another mother!

She had an amazing time, and trust me, so did I. I truly enjoyed the days we spent with your mother and with you. I see how much you love your mother, and this not only warms my heart, it fills me with joy knowing that there's more than what we see around us every day.

Oh, speaking of memories, I want to share a picture with you, as you took it with my pad:



I’m having it printed and framed, as Anya mentioned: "I want memory of sea," in her own words, of course.

But I must admit, I hold that memory dearly, for both you and I are part of it.
