Run Last Patch Broke The Launcher

Could be that your antivirus quarantined freelancer.exe for being too spooky. The only change since the last patch was the version number, by the way. It be like that sometimes.

Ok, so what do I do. Quit playing Discovery because no body knows why my patch update broke the launcher? How would I go about fixing this problem? I only use Windows Defender I don't use anything else.

See if your AV quarantined any files.
Restore them if it did.
Make exceptions of those files in your AV.
Play the game.
