Go into Windows Defender and add an exception for Freelancer.exe.


Windows Defender, like most AVs these days, uses garbage AI detection tools that raise false positives for no reason what so ever, so we cannot really predict when people are going to have issues with these things.

I added anything and everything that has to do with Freelancer and Discovery Freelancer 5.00.8 folders. Should I simply try to install it from the web page or do I try to uninstall and then reinstall? I don't want any major problems with uninstalling and loosing my access to my acts. and have to go through hot breezes of hell to get things running again.
