Could you elaborate more on this? How would one go about doing such testing?

i've mentioned it a couple of times on discord now

the very tldr is

disable your ipv6
ensure in your exe/flhook_plugins/ that dsacesrv.cfg has all; the file checksums disabled (look at lines 93 and lower)

install dsam

make sure game data in options is set to your discovery, reload game data

if it says it cant find character database file, you need to run flserver, connect to it, then try running dsam scan again

editing is stupidly straight forward, just goto the character, if you're in space, press reload char file so it knows ur in space when u update.

edit the light hardpoint to put an fx on it

save

relog in to check
