"However, since my last communication, there have been some... developments."

"Just yesterday, I managed to return from an expedition deep in the Omega Systems aboard the partially restored Typhoon-class Destroyer "Seliger". We found it drifting without activity in an unexplored nebula, unresponsive to any signals. Upon boarding the Destroyer, we discovered that the ship, after a skirmish, had made a tactical retreat into an unknown system due to an imminent encounter with a larger Corsair force arriving as reinforcements. However, due to the damage sustained by the Destroyer and the instability of the interstellar passage, the crew was unable to return."

"Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, there were no survivors on the ship. The life support system had failed, but it appears that most of the crew had fallen victim to infighting. Suspicions of internal sabotage, coupled with the desperate situation, led to tragedy."

"We are prepared to transport the bodies of fallen Coalition soldiers to you, along with all surviving records, including accounts of their final days. We have ensured that the bodies remain intact for a respectful burial."

"With this in mind, in lieu of our initial request, we now request your consent to restore this Destroyer as a permanent asset of the Platform forces. We will restore it ourselves, but if you could provide us with schematics of your Destroyer-class weaponry and power plant, it would be appreciated."

"In exchange, we remain willing to discuss providing you with the resources you requested. I hope you find this agreement satisfactory... And if so, I look forward to hearing your thoughts on where and when we might meet for further discussion."
