Good day Lady E. Cromwell,

The disaster recovery efforts have been working tirelessly in the past weeks to rescue vessels and recover crews stranded across Coronado. Though the emergency has past it looks like it will take months to restore all the damaged infrastructure such as Yuma's docking ring and some of Sabah's power grid.

The second topic of your message is of much higher concern to me. Recently there has been a prodding attack in Tau-44 by the Gallic Navy. With the Union moving a battleship close to the Tau-23 connected jump gate in Languedoc and demanding the release of said jump gate, it's our concern Gallia will be on an inevitable course of action against the Harris alliance. Our standpoint within the alliance is unquestionable, but with the house of Kusari being distracted with a query with liberty. The Republic has begun to question the stalwartness of all members of the Harris alliance. The Gallic Union is already testing the waters with what it can get away with, and we may need preventative measures against them to ensure our future. I know this is a hard thing to ask, but I assure you this is needed for both of our nations.

In service to the Republic.
