I want to start by applauding the crew of the Arkala for their quick response to the alert from one of our haulers. Their swift deployment in defense of the station and Mr. Cannuck's ship are deeply appreciated.
Regarding the encounter, I want to ensure everyone that the administration is not taking this alien encounter lightly. The self-defense force will be looking into a potential expansion of the roster, and will be seeking packages from trusted sources to ensure both Tijuana and San Joaquin remain safe. With that said, I want to urge members of the station security team to follow SDF guidelines regarding rules of engagement. The crew of the Arkala displayed a textbook example of how any reaction to an alien presence within the no-fire zone should be conducted.
