Howdy there Mr. Winters.

I'll come right out and say that I was on the fence about your consideration. Your background check is spotty to say the least, and I've heard some concerns regardin' your motivation from some of the talent acquisition team. Well, to hell with that - I'm takin' you in, and you best not disappoint. We could always use more folks with blue blood who know how to handle themselves outside the realm of the written laws.

That bein' said, you'll be under a probationary period, which means your role is on the line pending your first performance evaluation'. I always tell folks to impress me in their first few weeks, and that goes doubly for you. Carefully look through your onboardin' paperwork, and make an effort to keep busy. Seein' as you're a proud owner of a Longhorn-class vessel, we'll be sure to put it to good use out there. Listen to your superiors, ask as many questions as needed, and I'm sure you'll go far in this here company.
