Very well. Since I can't find a logical reason to disagree with the things you've said - I hereby offer you a formal apology on behalf of the Alliance Militia for the attack on your ship and people. Furthermore, I hereby provide you an implicit guarantee that there will be no repeat incidents. Without seeking to dispense with this apology or otherwise trivialize the magnitude of the incident, I state only that my men have had to endure dealing with your.. less than flattering kin for generations now.

Certain prejudices will take time to abate. Time, and effort from both sides of this so-called enterprise. I will mandate that derogatory terminology not be used against you or your family. Naturally, I cannot guarantee that this will not happen in private.

But please do note - that having said all this and given you my word, I will expect you to address my people with all due and equal courtesy. I never again want to hear them be called animals.
