Saint Florent Shipping Facility is a Modular Installation built in 751 A.G.S. (835 A.S.) near Planet Marseille, at the south, at the middle of the trade lane between Planet Marseille and the Languedoc Jump Gate. Saint Florent Shipping Facility, shortened as SFSF or SF, and held by the Compagnie Maritime Corse (CMC), subsidiary of the Crédit Privé de Marseille (CPdM). The main objective of the shipping facility is to help with the shipping of the various goods produced in Provence, toward the Gallic and Sirius Sectors, as well as facilitating imports, such as various minerals, H-fuel and Promethene, and everything needed to make Planet Marseille, and by extension, Provence run.

While the facility is fully working, it is still being prepared for the general public to access it, and export Provençal-made goods.

Saint Florent Shipping Platform (or simply Saint Florent) is also dedicated to assisting other Modular Installations present nearby with its planned generous cargo. It is the second iteration of the Porto-Vecchio Modular Installation, and the first belonging to a class (Preziosi). It will also be a key actor in the upcoming Provence Partnership program.

Alfredo Orsini, is the current head of the Unione Corse. Previously a Doctor, who graduated from the University of New Paris and professed liberally there for about a decade before the Gallic Invasion of Sirius, not much of his history before the Unione Corse is known. After a while, he has been put into trial for "unlawful experimentation on unwilling subjects", "unlawful experimentation using a banned substance," "unlawful experimentation on human beings," "unlawful experimentation on unwilling human beings," and "second-degree murder."; however, he has suddenly been cleared of all charges, and everything about this case (Île-de-France, Cour Pénale de Nouvelle Paris, Case n°AO-88991F). It is rumored that the Unione Corse, and his family, the Orsini Family, has had a hand in it. A few days after he had been cleared of all charges, and that all the documents related to his case were burnt down in a fire caused by a transport ship conveniently losing power over a wing of the NeuralNet Legal Royal Archives on N. Paris.

Tsumi no Kaiko ship description

Tsumi no Kaikō

The Tsumi no Kaikō (罪の回光), or the Redemptive Light of Sin, is a Hogosha Frigate dedicated to support Hogosha operations in the Taus and overtly Kusari's operations in the Taus. Launched as Hull n°146 in 834 A.S. by the Corsair Imperio's shipwrights, it was then moved to Kusari to support Corsair operations, as one of the very few Raba frigates still operating under the command of the Corsairs. Following the contract written between the Hogosha's Yomi Syndicate (黄泉組) and the Corsair Imperio, Hull n°146, the Raba Frigate, was to serve under the Corsair Imperio's command for a year until it would be transferred to this Syndicate's command.

On the eve of the 1st of January, 835 A.S., after the execs of the Yomi Syndicate believed that Hull n°146 was eventually to be lost, that they would lose the credits they invested in the Corsair Imperio and their shipwrights, Hull n°146 suddenly appeared near Kamakura Base, Sigma-59, with a large Corsair escort. Written crudely on the side of the hull where the number 146 was, was "Cumplimos con nuestra parte del contrato, ahora sigue la tuya." Notably, Hull n°146 was heavily damaged, yet the Corsairs emissaries said that "damages to the ship aren't covered within the contract your Syndicate and the Imperio. We needed this frigate for specific operations for a year, before handing it back to you guys."

After inspection by Yomi Syndicate's ship engineers and with the help of a a local Corsair cell's manpower, far more friendly than those "back home", they analyzed Hull n°146 for days, eventually noticing that the jump history was frantic right until the end (Jan. 1st, 835 A.S.).

Selected terminal access

Disregarding the absolute lack of safety, the already-exhausted engineers, deckhands, and the odd black market NeuralNet Security scientist, after a few days, all errors were patched, though it ended up costing 15% of the entire value of the ship additionally to the Yomi Syndicate. But now, Hull n°146 was back in their hands. Their investments, and in turn, the Imperio's investment in this warship project, was indeed a light for these criminals.

On Kamakura Base, Hull n°146 - which didn't had the privilege of having a name, or even have a cheap bottle of liquor broken up on her after her launching, assumedly due to the extremely quickly buildup of these frigates by the Imperio's shipwrights, had finally, after God knows how much operations this ship have participated in, whether supplying or pirating, had a limited ceremony. A bottle of sake, from 822 A.S, was broken on her damaged bow, and she was finally named, Tsumi no Kaikō (罪の回光).

Indeed, it has been far too long. And I am really glad, and happy to see you all. I really hope you are all doing great. Like you said; many faces vanish, disappear. But one thing we can agree on, is the bond between the Unioners and the Unione Corse.

Let me introduce myself; I am H.S.H. Principal Alfredo Orsini, in charge of the Corsican Commission (a/k/a The Commission, (//High Command)). I intend to continue the traditions of my predecessors in continuing the trust between us.

First of all: grazie, really, for your generous shipment to Bourbon Base, and this transmission. This was received with surprise, alongside a tinge of nostalgia for the past. But I believe we should be focused on the future. While keeping what has made, the relation between the Unioners, and the Corse, so strong, so important, to both of ours, that credits are a second thought, compared to trust between us.

I fully believe in trust, therefore, meeting in Zürich is absolutely feasible. It would be a pleasure to meet our old friends again directly, as you said, instead of using simply transmissions. and never moving... but this is enough. Now, I believe a new future dawns on us. And like you said; trust means far more, when faced with the uncertainty of life. "And perhaps the beginning of more," this I cannot agree more with. The Unioners have always been an admired group of ours. And I hope it is the same even now for you.
I am coming back from a diplomatic mission rather far away from the AR Provence, so I believe I will be back directly to Zürich from Friday (7th of November, 751 A.G.S.), to Sunday (9th of November, 751 A.G.S.); Sirius Standard Time at around the "evening" and "night". I hope this is acceptable enough for you. If not, no problem at all. It can be moved further down the line, or even before the 7th. Scusami, amicu meu, if I said a bit much, and if it seems all a bit too over-the-top, I must say, that I am very excited.
