Prezada Sr.ª Cross,

I will relay your most generous offer to Akutan Production Facility’s Engineering Team, though I’m unsure if Sr.ª Chellew would necessarily have the greatest amount of time until she would hear exactly where the offer was leading. It is after all not often one has a stay on Curaçao, especially free of charge.

The estimation of a few weeks would, at this time, align with Bristol C&M schedules and expectations for the Tumu-Ra’i-Fenua. However, it has been expressed by the Bristol Board that further modifications in the realm of removing interior structures are not necessary due to the already skeletonized nature of the interior hull. Due to expectations for the installation of uranium-ceramic armor exceeding at minimum 30% of ship mass, it is felt that further lessening of internal structures would present additional problems. Thank you for your flexibility in this, as I know this is likely one of the more unorthodox requests you have likely received in some time.

As to the entertainment lounge, while the offer is most certainly appreciated, due to the nature of Search And Rescue as well as navigational surveys it is felt that the installation of such a system could present complications in operations. With an already small crew, such distractions in critical locations could prove a hazardous delay at best. As such, I’m sorry but I will be forced to deny the offer.

The prospective crew will be transferred to shipyard for retrieval as soon as practicable.
