Quote:5.6 If a player engages cruise engine or docks during a PvP fight, this player is considered fleeing. The fleeing player must leave and may not re-enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) while the enemy (player or players involved in the fight) remains in the system, but no more than 4 hours.
However, the fleeing player can re-engage at will if chased.
My doubt comes from the fact that there isn't any express information there about thrusting away or maximum distances. Also, the way it happened it was more like this:
He appeared, we exchanged some basic taunts to each other and the fight starts. He fires upon my ship taking away my shields pretty fast, I try his shields with my Coladas and do the math, so I decided to go evasive a bit to see if he could track me. Finally I decided that being around him wasn't the best thing to do and I decide to go away. Since he's slower than me I figured I could just outrun him. If he was adamant about killing me I'd have to retreat yes, but maybe he wouldn't bother chasing me and that's more or less what happened. After some 4k I noticed that he veered away and didn't insist in chasing me. I've never really engaged cruise, in fact I was EKing backwards with my CDs ready in case he started approaching fast. I thought he decided I was too small a fish to fry and went about his business. Wrong?
