I wish to be less formal now.

How do you like the shirts I handmade for you? Do you find them comfortable and stylish enough for your needs?

I have been practising my sewing skills since then, and I might be able to create a more casual version of your uniform, from the best cloths available to humanity in Sirius. That should allow you to stay in-character longer while not having to worry about crumpled collars if you find yourself in a fierce, prolonged battle again.
