Good afternoon Ms. Hull,

Thank you for your candid response. I appreciate the time you have taken to look over my request, as well as the straightforwardness of your concerns — it reflects the professional standards Bristol C&M is known for.

Allow me to clarify a few points, as I believe my earlier message may not have conveyed the full picture of my situation or intentions.

The losses I have taken along the Burgundy–Omicron corridor were the unfortunate result of a series of contracted obligations that left me with little flexibility in routing. I fully acknowledge the risks — and the responsibility lies with me. Since then, I have taken steps to correct these issues: restructuring my operational patterns, adjusting my crew composition, and limiting my exposure to unnecessary hazards. My current intent is not to repeat past mistakes, but to build a far more stable and reliable operation.

Regarding financing: the sale of my current vessel is not born from desperation, but from a strategic restructuring aimed at consolidating resources for a long-term upgrade. If necessary, I am fully prepared to provide documentation, references from previous partners, or even undergo an evaluation period to demonstrate my reliability.

I understand Bristol C&M’s hesitation — the Bulwark-class is not a vessel handed out lightly. But I genuinely believe that with the right guidance and a structured acquisition plan, I could meet the expectations Bristol places on its captains.

If a direct sale is still off the table, perhaps there is an alternative path:
• a conditional purchase agreement,
• a probationary lease arrangement,
• or even a trial contract demonstrating my operational discipline.

I am more than willing to work within your framework.

I respect your decision regardless — but if you are willing, I would appreciate the opportunity to prove that I can be the kind of captain Bristol C&M would be comfortable equipping with a Bulwark-class Heavy Explorer.

Thank you again for your consideration.
I hope we can find a path forward.

Kind regards,
$NAK3
