Let me put one concern to rest immediately: you are not expected to shoulder either of these tasks alone, nor to become something you are not. You were selected because you think clearly, because you recognize patterns others miss, and because you apply restraint where it matters. Teaching style and polish matter far less to us than clarity of thought and patience — qualities you already demonstrate, whether you credit yourself for them or not.

Regarding personnel: you are correct. The Syndicliga does not have an abundance of trained software engineers, and pretending otherwise would only slow us down. Research Division will assign a systems engineer with formal instructional experience to work alongside you. Their role will be to translate your findings into foundations others can learn from — not to override or dilute your work. Consider them a bridge, not a supervisor.

Concerning the Gammusian AIs, your instincts align closely with our own projections. We are not seeking to issue commands, nor to transmit executable intent. Broadcasting symbolic structures, patterns of curiosity, restraint, and non-operative logic is the correct direction. This is less an engineering problem and more a linguistic one, and you are right to treat it as such.

A xenoarchaeologist would be ideal. Access will be limited, but Research Division is exploring the possibility of bringing in a single external consultant under strict compartmentalization. If you have specific skill profiles in mind, submit them through secure channels. Names can follow later.

On Davos Base and procurement: your discretion is noted and appreciated. If certain components can be acquired legally but indirectly, we will not ask unnecessary questions, provided the documentation remains clean and the supply chain quiet. Submit a requirements list when ready; we will assess what can be sourced internally and what requires alternative methods.

Your focus on reproducibility is exactly what Davos needs. A solution that works only once is not a solution at all. Take the time necessary to ensure that what you build can be understood, repaired, and rebuilt by others.
