I could see an argument for 2 of the 5 OFs, who lost OF status, to keep it for now (new requirement being 2 days a quarter), but the rest weren't even close to that 48 hour requirement.

Playing 4 minutes per day is no interest in the game, not waiting for OF rework. +1 to that sentiment, a lot of people put in a lot of effort to keep their OFs, the parole should go to factions that were at 2 days or near it

And if that ends up true then they're going to go once again quickly. Considering that it was also a winter break season and the season where many, many other games come out to play I am not too phased by things there.

In the end if all of these factions go, oh shit we actually did die we need to be active now and do, then its only a net positive for Discovery overall. If they don't then you wont see them this year anyway. It's only fair to be unilateral.
