To: Pantalião Vascoguoncellos Cc: Gunda Riehl, Flora From: Friedrich Krüger Subject: Clarification and Guarantees
Senhor Vascoguoncellos,
I appreciate the directness of your concerns, and I will respond with the same clarity.
First, let me be explicit the Unioners have no involvement in, nor influence over, any attacks conducted outside of Rheinland. We do not direct, encourage, or coordinate hostile actions in Bretonia, Vespucci, or elsewhere. Our word on this matter is firm. Where our remit ends, it ends cleanly.
Second, with regard to Bering specifically and Bristol operations therein you have our assurance that there will be no attacks originating from, encouraged by, or facilitated through Unioner. This assurance extends unconditionally. Even if individuals friendly to us were inclined otherwise, they would find no support, tolerance, or shelter from the Union. That includes Senhora Flora.
Which brings me to the heart of your concern.
Rather than speaking over her or attempting to frame her position on your behalf, we agree it is both proper and practical that Senhora Flora speaks to you directly. She will communicate with you herself, plainly and without intermediaries, so that any guarantees you require are given in her own words and understood without distortion.
Our interest here is narrow and professional the acquisition of a single Bulwark-compatible drive module and reactor, nothing more. Not escalation. Not entanglement. Not future leverage. We intend for this arrangement, if it proceeds, to be contained, discreet, and insulated from broader political currents.
If the assurances you seek must come from Flora directly, then that is how they shall be delivered. We will facilitate the channel and then step back.
I hope this clarifies our position and demonstrates good faith on our part. We are prepared to proceed carefully or not at all depending on where this dialogue leads.
Mit Respekt, Friedrich Krüger
