Sehr geehrtes Büro des Marinennachrichtendienstes,

My name is Wilhelm Stieglitz, Senior Human Resources Manager for Weiss Shipping's Holstein branch office. As I'm sure the Büro is already aware, the company has had a turbulent period of internal restructuring over the last year, and I'm happy to convey management's success in removing undesirable elements from the company.

In light of that, I've included a few items of interest my superiors would like to inform about, before requesting a renewal of the special authorization you so graciously provided last year.

[+]Additional Clearance Required
First, the Hybrid Efficiency program from last year had to be concluded. Management suspects targeted cyberterrorist involvement in the project. As you know, we employed and replicated a cyborg employee to reduce the workload of our marketing department and coordinate some of our higher risk shipping assets. The machine subsequently went rogue and disappeared in independent space

An appraisal from a domestic cybersecurity company has shown our legally purchased Core bionic hardware was in fact an improvised combination of black market devices, fashioned to match the appearance of the official line. The experts stated this counterfeit computerware most matched legacy Ageira technology, with the majority of the machinery being unfamiliar to theirs and affiliates' databases. By method of elimination, the counterfeits were more likely of Liberty unlawful origin, but The Order's involvement was not fully ruled out. The experts believe the latter is less likely due to the sample not matching any of the unique alloys used in Edge World bionic devices, which was their original lead toward the appraisal result.

Management laments the company was unable to retrieve all instances of the rogue cyborg. We've identified at least one individual cyborg at large, helming the Bulwark class vessel Weiss]GG-Abendort, whose contract failed to completely terminate. We've listed its transponder as unauthorized, but were unable to fully remove it from Sirius-wide listing. As we lack the extended security jurisdiction, this issue might unfortunately land in the hands of the BDM.

A second matter is the suspicious disappearance of four Gefahrgut security pilots. Engel-7 was listed as killed in action during a GMG incursion in the Sigma-15 system, despite security footage from one of our affiliated transports showing it undamaged in New Berlin orbit. It is believed the pilot and his Vulture class ship headed toward Dresden. Our affiliate, an Imperial Shipping large transport captain, reports the hailing the pilot only to receive a vulgar targeted offense, causing uncharacteristic mental distress to herself and her crew, yet only regained the memory of the incident mid-December, long after the occurence. Correspondence related to the complaint is available in the detailed summary. Gefahrgut veterans claim this is similar to Phoenix sourced reports of alleged alien abduction victims in their home space, thus we've included this in the report.

We would like to list the ship and its operator as defected, and expect the MIA Engel-4, its pilot, and her colleague also brother to be connected to the defector. I would like to convey management's regret that we have lost all internal information on the three persons due to unknown sabotage without chance for retrieval.

The final missing person was the captain of our frigate Faustische Wette who was last known to be in a violent altercation with a woman named Tessa and an unknown third party allegedly local to Sigma-15, inside the bar facilities of Tanegashima Station, according to a station inhabitant. Management considers this information to be unreliable, but acknowledges the captain's location is unknown since a regular shipment to Sigma-13. The crew claimed they were unaware of any incidents and have since been shifted to domestic shipping for observation.

Weiss has also completed compiling our resource and markets survey of the Omicrons. The database access code is attached to this message, to make use of the BDM's secure channel. Management laments the lack of similar capabilities when operating in high risk regions. Executive and board member Herr Gröss wished to extend an invitation to Director Siegfried, but was unable to find another communication address for it. It has thus been included in this report.

An official report on ship losses and personnel changes to the Rheinland Government will first await the Büro's permission.

Mit verbindlichen Grüßen,
Weiss Shipping
