' Wrote:Junkers complaining about having their "rights" violated? They are lucky to be tolerated anywhere near lawful space, given their involvement in slavery, cardamine and all the other stuff that goes on while they're "collecting scrap". They might imagine themselves to be kinda like "Bubbles Depot" or Albert Steptoe but remember this is the group that has been assisting the AI Fleets that have been making smoothies using thousands of innocents harvested across Sirius.
I'm not one for getting into talking about loadouts in game but Corsair weapons could reasonably be taken by any officer to demonstrate 1. involvement in arms dealing and 2. involvement with the largest criminal organisation in Sirius.
And the lawfuls have every right to be zealous, given how many pirates operate in NY.
The thread title could be toned down a bit.
Yeah, but Junkers tend to have unique relationships/ties to lawful factions.
You don't consider a Junker hostile as Liberty Navy (atleast, I don't think you should), you consider him with suspicion. Junkers usually sit on the fence in that they'll do things for both sides, for example they'll sometimes rat out a local smuggler or a pirate to the police to keep the government off their backs. They actually would (or should) be pretty welcome in a place like Liberty, it's just that Liberty can be unrealistic in that it doesn't have anything other than good-cop Top Gun's when it comes to Navy, Police, and even the Bounty Hunters.
If every single person with a lawful ID wouldn't try to always kill you for abit of petty smuggling the Junkers might stop treating you like the arses you tend to be and actually help you out with something for a change.. I've recently went completely hostile to the Bounty Hunters 'cause absolutely every single one of them act like charismatic goodie-twoshoes who can't be bribed or convinced into doing something a little different every once in awhile. It's starting to go that way for my Junker with all lawful-militant organizations just because they treat me like I'm a bogey and not a Junker.
It's for these reasons that my Junker doesn't visit Liberty often, 'cause even the better roleplayers you find there are just looking for a way to justify killing you. It's the same reason I'm branching out and flying a Gunboat, too.
