personally i stopped caring years ago. we blast our personal data around like its going out of style, if its facebook, google or tiktok or whatever.
we all know this push towards identification, is and never will be for "child protection", its about governmental control of the population.

It doesnt matter if its the us, uk or eu. they all want the same thing and any company that exists in these regions WILL be forced to comply with there regulations.
the questions is not if, its when this will happen. whatever programm you pick will inevidibly forced to comply with those regualtions or they can pack there stuff up and head out.

also teamspeak collects your data too, as will any other platform. and i'm going to get polticial here and warn you all that governments are still going after you.

you're supposed to be fighting the government regulations here. not just the corporates. USA gov has already been getting data off of social medias including discord to track people who merely critizes ice.

the internet (and the world imo) is going to get so much more evil if no one protests. gestapo type shit. we're genuinely in the worst timeline.


also like geno said, if u dont want to verify your account (you can literally use the face poser too in gmod to bypass using a real face ffs lol) - you're only missing out on NSFW marked channels and stages. you'd still be able to use discord as normal.
