The best Junkers could expect to be is tolerated. They are an unlawful faction. One or two of them engage in nastiness (real nastiness - drugs and slaves) and get caught which makes people suspicious of the rest.
The thread was about one or two people so generalising doesn't really fit here. Bear in mind that when some LPI tried RPing corrupt officers there were complaints. Now the problem is people playing the opposite. Wanting more variety of RP means expecting unlawfuls to RP as well: it's a two way street.
My advice: avoid NY completely. Accepting a bribe is an unlawful action, and prohibited by lawful ID.
