It appears everything went smoothly, our pilots have reported a successful run. I hope these supplies will help kick-start the Atum’s repairs.
If my figures are correct, the shipment included 6,450 units of Ablative Armor, 4,450 Engine Components, 4,150 Hull Panels, and 2,150 Robotics.
In addition, there were several items of particular technological value, carried aboard your vessel and secured and hiddenwithin our docking module during transit.
As your ship was present throughout, I assume you won’t require the cargo manifest or unloading confirmation.
If further convoys are required, let me know and we will schedule them accordingly.
On a more serious note: I have just received word from one of our scientists at Ames that a Lane Hacker has leaked what appears to be Jump Drive technology. We are currently attempting to retrieve the data from multiple Freeports to ensure redundancy. Given Ames’ proximity, it may already have obtained a copy. News travels slowly to the Omicrons, and we received this report well after it likely reached our space. For security reasons, I have instructed all our installations to secure their own copy as well; distance and interference make too many things uncertain.
I am assigning the bulk of our scientific staff to assess the material. If authentic, this is a breakthrough of historic proportions.
I suspect the Order may already have significant insight—or even working familiarity—with this class of technology. Regardless, I would like to propose a joint research venture to validate the leak and, if it proves genuine, to begin the careful work of understanding these “engines of wonder.”
