6 total. To be honest, some of us were having IRL, so that takes precedence. And personally only being able to log at weird hours due to work matters kind of inhibits a lot of coordination. And hard to coordinate when the other faction leader is lowkey homeless irl rn lol
What have you done to advance your faction’s goals this quarter?
Interacted with several groups, lingered around to gather intel and pay people for it. At least whenever possible. So far mostly been driving around ingame looking for people to hire and been talking to other official faction characters to get info on the current politicial atmosphere. Most of the RP has been about anomalies and figuring out solutions to these alien catalysts.
What are your faction’s goals for the next quarter?
There is no solid plan but a vague idea of what to work on. Unfortunately it does heavily depend on story development in the story which determines how we react. So effectively, there cannot be a solid plan because you cannot predict what is going to happen, so most of it is a reactionary course of action.
But as of the latest development, there were... attempts to strengthen the Zoner activity in Penny, as well as partake in working on means to counteract wilde activity through indirect means. The latest Jump Drive story beat has taken a lot of interest, so investing into political tasks has been more of a priority versus hunting down and shooting people. I would like to have more involvement of the intel aspect of the faction and go a bit more underground by having hidden operations for conspiracies.
So basically just exploring politics and trying to do some diplomacy. And hopefully try to pick up on a few science projects along the way.
What have you done to drive activity and promote high quality roleplay this quarter?
Partaking in conspiracies, flying around to talk to others and motivate others to go do a little snooping. Been trying to find more people to hire on mini tasks but it's been a bit hard to find unique players, particularly when the pop was a bit low. Been trying to interact with other factions to set off a 'ripple effect' if you will - of interactions. So far, there's been some stuff (indrectly or directly) with Buro, Hackers, Bundschuh (Platform), KNF, Gammu AI, somewhat trying to get the Navy's attention but kind of failing that, RM. Did bump into some indie groups like EX and hoped some word of mouth would spread. Hoping to yap to more people.
How would you like your NPC faction’s story to be developed moving forward?
It's something we still need to talk about and haven't had the chance to get together in a voice chat for months now, IRL has just been in the way. I suppose we wanted to do something in regards to Newcastle, Coronado and the latest Jump Drive craze, since the faction would take interest in these exotic alien events. Perhaps maybe expand economic and subterfuge presence.
What roleplay, events, or activities have you done this quarter to promote this development?
So far: Hung out ingame, trying to find people to hire. Partaking in political schemes to try and involve others for networking so mainly yapping and trying to get people to do some spying or bounty hunting work.
