What have you done to advance your faction’s goals this quarter?
Requested a custom roundel, which was implemented.
Requested custom textured ships (namely reintroducing the KuExile ships for [KNF] access), implementation approved for next patch. A texture overhaul is WIP (with many Kudos to Caedus for voluntarily doing this)
Pending decision where to place our FoB. Might have it figured out by the end of the quarter. (as of 29.03 that's a no. FoB will be for next quarter)
What are your faction’s goals for the next quarter?
Depending on the FoB location, a supply event will be submitted.
Continue to prepare for all eventualities iRP related to the tensions with Liberty and the Kishiro Jump Drive leaks. Including but not limited to multiple faction spanning approaches on how to deal with the JD leak (e.g. development of own countermeasures and the idea of spreading a 2nd leak aimed at rendering the 1st leaks content less harmful)
Introduce a new sub-division aimed at lowering the threshold for entering the sphere of lawful RP and gameplay by promoting training and an environment rendering low pvp or RP experience a non-issue. Instead it'll aim for an easy approach to learn both in a laidback environment. This will occur alongside the patch day as it will make exclusive use of the Imperial snubline re-added for our usage.
What have you done to drive activity and promote high quality roleplay this quarter?
Held the aforementioned Parliamentary Elections with impressive community wide participation (thanks to all again)
Voluntarily opening the Government RP angle to the creators of the political parties used for the election by letting them in on shaping future RP together.
Assisted in the removal of a GNI Outpost as part of the wider Harris Alliance RP (*)(*)
Signed off on a player RP submission to Kusari Gov, as part of their characters story (*)
Portrayed consequences to the IKN-Niyodo Official Event amidst post-election chaos (*)
Brought back the Naval Secret Police as means to push forward upcoming societal and ingame behavior changes related to the election results (*)
Created a Contingency Plan in circumstances where Kusari loses control over a sovereign system as part of the "Be prepared for all eventualities" series related to Liberty and JDs (*)
Begun with preparations for Operation "Kantai Kessen", a warplan discussing a decisive first strike on Liberty using the JD advantage. (*)(*) It is part of the "Be prepared for all eventualities" series and will lead over to several other warplans and a logistical event, all of which will be opened up to indie participation down the road.
WIP discussions with the BAF (an important to us strategic partner due to their role as testbed for the Jump Drive during military deployments) related to the very JD leak and potential joint approaches on how to deal with it. (*)
Committed to several patrols in Galileo and the Taus (*)(*) - However due to the current version of the DMTN, the vast majority come with no forum RP to show off. Very lame. Rephrase the rule asap please.
29.03 late entry: Utilized a by change ingame encounter to highlight and internally announce (to all lawfuls) how Kusari will proceed dealing with non-Kishiro built Jump Drives. (*)
29.03 late entry: First News Report and Gov policy being part of next quarters "Continue to prepare for all eventualities iRP related to the tensions with Liberty" point. Here; introduction of mandatory military service with either the ground forces or the KNF. (*)
Responded to the usual raids and pvps, as well as smugglers.
How would you like your NPC faction’s story to be developed moving forward?
Continue and finalize Project Toyotomi, resulting in a small Outpost NPC base in Hokkaido.
See an expansion to the Hitokappu Logistics Area.
Guess going to war? Maybe not. It seems very uncertain as of late.
Push forward with the Kusari internal JD leak reactions enough that @jammi has to acknowledge them
What roleplay, events, or activities have you done this quarter to promote this development?
For future development? Not much at all next to the war plans, we were too busy focusing on the JD leak related matters. Expansions to the Logistics Area (likely tied to FoB) and pushing forward with Project Toyotomi are planned for next quarter and not in preparation of it.
