I can tell with certainty now that this week is among the most unusual ones of the past ten years. Are you happy that I invest time into answering you myself?

I do not have to be reminded of your actions, nor do I need you to try and play the sympathy card by mentioning my sister. Just as a notice, she's not my biological sister and too intelligent to ever fall hostage to anyone. She takes hostages, I would know as I was one myself in a twisted way many years ago.

I align with your view on not desiring to see the sector set ablaze but you can thank the Republic of Liberty and their endless arrogance for this. Had they not interfered with the recovery of the experimental wreckage, the Lane Hackers would have not been able to snatch it and release a leak so dangerous that it should actually cause mass hysteria among the colonies. These incomplete schemata will lead to catastrophe when put to use and so will whoever figures out the missing pieces in a few years and unleashes uncontrolled devices on the market. You can think of the Empire what you want but the sole goal of the project was to free ourselves of Ageira's monopoly and the never ending political soft power the Republic of Liberty yields against everyone as a result. With the project unleashed upon the sector, its militarization is only a question of when. The Republic set the sector on fire and steers us towards total chaos. How many souls do you think will have to pay for their relentless desire of total control over technology? Tens of millions if not more. Their current course is the third gigantic threat the sector now faces within barely fourty years and there is basically no one capable of opposing them right now.

The terrorist attack on the Fujiyoshida Shrine is spineless. Religious zealots attacking other religious zealots and causing the death of innocent bystanders. Their target were all members of the Katsuherabo family residing there, this included little Shinobu-chan. I was in her hospital room, comforted the girl. Have you ever held a little girl who has just lost her mother? Terrorism is never the answer. Societal changes cannot be forced through bloodshed, they appear gradually and require delicate guidance to be successful. Likewise, I stand against needless bloodshed as answer to this attack. The Dragons sealed their fate by supporting it, yet this does not mean I have to stand idle as vigilantes aim for pity revenge and utilize it as an excuse to cause havoc against those they only so much as disagree with. I have successfully stopped such endeavors for now by exerting control over those they bow to and know whom to look out for to make sure none step out of line.

Your misconceptions about the Hanazono and the families behind them are also not helpful. Hai, they are ultra-conservative religious zealots for the most part, yet they break those ancient norms you believe they stand for. All of these families are matriarchal in nature for centuries now. They do not seek to remedy the gradual progress made since the Republic on women's rights and the role of us in Kusari society, they actually embrace it. A distinct portion of their voter base are religious women in fact. This does not mean that they're entirely unproblematic but there's remedies for this. Inexperienced as they are in the political sphere, they can be controlled to a good extent. Do I wish for their future success then? Not really.

The Sunrise Party wasn't always headed by myself, this only changed with the collapse of the HUP and me cutting ties back in 827 AS. Too close did some embrace the path of terrorism as means to change society by embracing the Golden Flowers. Corrupted flowers, unfortunately. Yuyu Matsuda's teachings have long been hollowed out, twisted and turned into a "weapon against the system", whilst they themselves became slaves to another far more insidious system: The Outcasts. How do I know this? There are ancient archives in Kusari and some original copies of the 'Golden Chrysanthemum in Bloom' from 642 AS survived. They differ on many points from those versions the Flowers utilize nowadays, for they include interpretations of a poet's work who is now dead for nearly 200 years to encourage blind hatred and a system where through aimless bloodshed, they obtain total control as part of a holy war. Matsuda's original demands were too early in time, too drastic for the society of that century - not too drastic for these days by the way, not the original ones - and the attempt to force it through violence proved fatal. And fatal it remains to this day.

The Sunrise Party under my leadership pursues the monumental task of mediating all sides of Kusari's society, catering to the military complex, the Keiretsu, the people, the future. But I came to a distinct realization over the years: External threats have long sought to not destabilize but outright wipe our culture and society out of existence. Only a society understanding that some degree of militarization and national pride and unity is what keeps us from being erased or undermined, can survive and thrive. We have waged wars over wars in the past decades, some I still believe to have been a mistake, but we cannot sit idly whilst external forces try to wrestle control. The Republic of Liberty made an attempt on my life already, believing it would force us to react as aggressor, when in reality it is them who pursue not just technological monopoly but far-reaching control over our entire house. So you see, no matter whether we're talking internal or external factions, I stand against any attempts to transform our society with innocent blood spilled in the process. Our society must grow at its own pace and I can see the first results of non-interference to this process bear fruits. Look at me, I am the living proof that our society can take steps forward. I stand for my ideals, despite friction with many around me, and I prepare accordingly. My influence is limited but growing. You might never fully agree with what I aim for and it would take a couple hours to explain in full, but I do not care. My vision of Kusari is prosperous and I won't stop trying to reach for it.

As for your request regarding the buried remnants of your family members, I will pull a few strings and ask an energetic young girl who is working for my family's side business to handle the transportation. Ria Hirayama of the Mirai-Maru, an expeditionary vessel, will be thrilled to have a reason to discover even more of the Omega Sector. Expect her to insist on delivering the remnants straight to Gran Canaria by herself.
