LTJG Jackson reporting.
Good evening command,
I responded to an ongoing engagement today in the vicinity of Baltimore Shipyard. It was a skirmish with Xenos and Liberty Rogues against our 46th fleet, first fleet, and LSF. With approval from Captain Brown onboard the LNS-Akhetaten, I joined the engagement and assisted what friendly assets remained. While the first fleet's LNS-Cheyenne was disabled in the battle, support fire from Captain Brown's LNS-Akhetaten was able to take down a few fighters and force the rest of the hostile elements to retreat.
I've confirmed the following hostile vessels in this engagement:
XA-Cobra (IFF Xenos)
XA-Diadem (IFF Xenos)
White.Talon (IFF Xenos)
Frontier (IFF Xenos)
[R]-Double.Down (IFF Liberty Rogue)
This is a rare occurrence of Xenos and Liberty Rogues openly assisting each other when they are normally hostile. It could be a one-time occurrence where "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" in the face of a stronger foe, but it might be cause for concern if it happens again. The timing couldn't be worse with tensions growing with Kusari.
