Name of Faction: The Platform Name of Faction Leader: @Civil Servant Number of Active Players this Quarter: 4
What have you done to advance your faction’s goals this quarter?
Developing relations and supporting other pro-democratic & anti-authoritarian liberation movements. Such as combat support in Pennsylvania and opening diplomacy with blood dragon cells.
To build up a network of reliable anti-nomad operatives, bilateral support for order forces in the omicrons and their local cells in Rheinland.
Building networks with people individually rather than the organization they would represent, and sowing distrust in the imperials to those that are still uncomfortable with their new government.
Furthering advancements in science to resist any form of corporate domination in various industries, and to supplement groups left behind unjustly.
What are your faction’s goals for the next quarter?
Countering the Hammersee prison economy and disrupting Rheinland corporations that directly use prison labor to supplement their operations.
Continue building relations with other Sinclair protocol members (Blood dragons, Lane Hackers, Order.) Branching abilities across Sirius, combat Core strength, combating nomads, and preparing for any consequences of the AI rebellion.
Potentially looking at PoB deployment as Bundschuh, mining bonuses maybe? (Faction Perk request had been sent already.)
What have you done to drive activity and promote high quality roleplay this quarter?
Giving awareness that the Bundschuh are exploring other options rather than outright hostility to the Gammuian AI, mainly by approaching this as a resistance to a genocide and active persecution.
Stalwart opponent to the Omicron Nomads and Wilde, acting as intelligence gatherers with moral concerns for a civilian population. Cooperation with sympathetic parties that would be considered unorthodox.
Jump-space related roleplay, focusing on mega corporation control and looking for alternatives for freedom of movement.
How would you like your NPC faction’s story to be developed moving forward?
- Take a more offensive role against the Imperials with desires of change to systemic corruption locally in Rheinland.
- Taking advantage of market instability with the growing tensions across Sirius, interconnected economies that pass through the sigma-rheinland corridors.
- Highlighting how the Bundschuh have the ability to work with a wide range of other factions. Abilities to negotiate between other parties of the underground without compromising to contrarian ideologies.
- Increase in Sinclair protocol activities. More involvement with allies in a range of work, securing technologies to counter house corruption and abuse, and against increasing hostile nomad attacks. Open-source/Open-knowledge attitude with close partners in technological developments.
- Promote the Bundschuh as a respected party within the underground supply chain, this is done with material and dissident smuggling to bolster other movements across Sirius. Paramilitary support with some parties like Pennsylvania's militants, and Blood Dragons in combined operations in the sigmas. (Easy addition would be docking rights on Marne's atmospheric entry for Bundschuh ID's.)
The Bundschuh NPC bases still require lots of info cards update in general, will look at working on this too.
What roleplay, events, or activities have you done this quarter to promote this development?
Majority of interactions have been random encounters with other players with usual resistance/rebellion/terrorist themes. And stories revolving around the Nomad conflicts, environmental consequences of the jump networks deterioration.
Cooperation with other factions to support common goals without compromising on political aims (Platform Tenets):
- Assistance to the AI against the Core, While individual characters may have motives, the collective goal is to help the AI against the Core and Nomads. Directly conversing with them and gathering intelligence with other parties to establish their long term objectives. A delicate matter as a Sinclair Protocol partner.
- Increase corporate piracy and terrorist risk in Rheinland and it's border worlds, with means to cause disruption in the trust of a capitalist system. (Sorry traders.)
- Working with neighboring organizations to spread awareness of common struggles, and exchanging compatible ideology leaning into progressive left wing themes.
