Name of Faction:GNI/ - Gallic National Intelligence Name of Faction Leader:That'd be me Number of Active Players this Quarter:Three
What have you done to advance your faction’s goals this quarter? Current faction goals have not been much beyond being active in game and interacting with people we encounter there. While we would like to see some development of the current situation in the Taus, its understood that dev focus has shifted to other places and that events are more or less at a standstill currently.
What are your faction’s goals for the next quarter? We'd like to see an event around the stated goal of the Gallic Union to retake the Tau-23/Tau-31 Jump Gate, and then obviously develop things from there. More involvement with getting news articles in for Gallia would be welcome as well, and we've already seen aspects of this from Jammi. Right now it's hard to tell exactly what direction to take the faction in relation to the overall story agenda, as there doesn't currently seem to be any plans in that regard, and a bit of direction from the story team would be helpful.
How would you like your NPC faction’s story to be developed moving forward? With the recent proliferation of information about Jump Drives and their capability, research on and the development of this technology by GNI is by far the most obvious story development we would want to see. This is already being started on by Jammi, though it won't be present in game until after the coming patch. Beyond that we don't have any specific goals, mostly concepts that I'd be happy to elaborate on in private, though most of those center around Gallia in general and not the GNI in particular.
What roleplay, events, or activities have you done this quarter to promote this development? Well, to be honest its a little hard to promote development that you have no idea about before its shoved into your lap, and I'm currently waiting on the lore dump about Jump Drives and Gates and what-have-you before starting any roleplay around it so as to not have to go back and retcon any contradictions.
