Subject: Update: Midships

Details

No further luck with CRANE since the last update. Probably for the better; Thastus knows my time's better spent actually getting the old girl up and running.

Stern's in a suitable place for now. Not great, but suitable. Midships is gonna be the bulk of the time I sink into this. Hull gashes everywhere; Patched with stasis fields for now, but those aren't permanent. Can't be. Have to start getting proper ship maintenance rolling, and while El Alto has the tools we need, what I don't have is space. I'll need to remedy that in the near future, likely once I'm done working on a proper outfit for Pinnacle,

For now, it's slow-going. Not much technical work when we're really just bringing in raw materials to patch up holes like the good old days. We are moving the fields closer to the edge of the hull with every subsection of viable cabling we refresh, but again, slow-going.

I'm gonna look at getting some things transferred off El Alto, maybe even design something myself. Always fancied a Leniex 2.0, but that's far down the line.
