Direktor Siegfried,

By R&D wing, I presume you mean that woman, and until she gets her countermeasures operational, I intend to prevent our primary adversaries, barring the current Wilde incursion, which my forces cannot reach safely, from acquiring working jump drive technology in a timely manner.

To this end, I will be ordering what reserve forces I have to embark on a raiding campaign on the Dresden system and attacking other Hessian supply lines wherever possible.

Our primary objectives will be to eliminate the flow of materiel and damage any Hessian industrial assets we find. With luck, we'll also gradually attrit their combat forces and draw a Coalition response. Should we succeed, our intended effect is to retard Hessian and Coalition efforts to deploy jump drive technology by forcing them to draw resources toward replenishing their combat capabilities and remaining resource capabilities.

While my predecessors already succeeded in destroying much of Dresden's remaining industrial capabilities, as well as greatly reducing Hessian combat capabilities, as my own analysts predict, I have little in the way of precise intelligence on their current standing. If you have any actionable intelligence or the capability to produce some, it would greatly aid our efforts, particularly in regard to the Coalition, for whom I have almost no intelligence due to their distance from Rheinland.

Additionally, I intend to have my forces avoid the same fate as the Strausberg, and ultimately, Admiral Schmid, and I would deeply appreciate any additional combat forces you could provide to this operation. Regardless, if you feel you are too occupied with our problems in Thuringia, my forces should ultimately prove able to preserve themselves. I believe I have sufficiently reigned in such foolishness as seen in events like the Honshu Campaign. The Kaiser herself will be leading the operation and will thus no longer be available to support any of your own operations in that theatre once we commence.
