Carmen gave him a mild roll of her eyes in reply. Her lips quirked and she wagged her index finger at him, as her hand held her drink. "Quite the peacock, amigo. So proud."

She smirked openly. She was quite aware he might throw it back at her. Corsairs were ever the proud people. In her mind, for damn good reason. To rise from nothing to kings and queens of the edge of the Sirius sector... yes. That allowed for boasting. Well deserved boasting.

She indulged a moment in another subtle sniff of his blueberry drink. It made her want to order the same drink. Perhaps after she'd finished her usual. She took a sip, her silver eyes regarding him over the rim of the glass.

This had turned into pleasant distraction. While the two were likely never to agree on much and would almost certainly turn one or both of themselves into space dust should they meet in the void, this was at least an easy, relaxed, affair. Nothing special. Perhaps she'd forget it as soon as she left. Perhaps she'd remember the proud peacock. Who knew. It didn't matter to her. She came to this club for relaxation. She certainly had found that in one manner of speaking; or rather, he'd found her. To be fair.

"As closely guarded as you are, hombre, tight as a culo clenched, instead of revealing all you are to a humble chica such as myself," she grinned, "what is thine opinion of the glorious Sirius sector and its blend of chaos? It certainly provides opportunity. If nothing else."
