Damien, I'd like to ask you for a boon. Words been making the rounds that Bancroft from External Affairs is going to make a trip to Gran Canaria. Some cultural festival from what I've heard. Would you grant me the opportunity to accompany him on this trip?
It's been about a year since we won the battle for our home. Internal Affairs has had so much to do. From counting those that drew their last breath for us to making sure that neither the celebrations nor the emnities that victory sparked threatened us from within. And while I made sure that those relying on me got the proper R&R they deserved, I fear that it left me a little bit out of energy.
If you fear that me going away for this might negatively impact Internal Affairs: The people which are still left after the restructuring are the best in their respective duties and I already briefed them about which steps to take in case of my absence. They've instructions for pretty much most of the fringe cases that could come up.
