Subject: Report - 836/03/28 | Escort and Patrol Debrief

46th assets deployed to Magellan to escort a Bretonian liner convoy, bound for Texas, then Pennsylvania, before heading back to Bretonian space. Lieutenant Commander Cahoone and Lieutenant Junior-Grade Jackson accompanied me to the Libertonian border, alongside Fifth Fleet gunboat Phoenix.

Our group was intercepted by a lone Hacker affiliate, callsign LH~Mildred,Wolfe., near the Manchester Gate. Seemingly a scouting party. Ship was swiftly neutralized and removed from the AO. No other hostiles showed.

Bretonian Liner, callsign Tayloe, arrived shortly after, with a Bretonian escort in tow. Admiral Uhmen oversaw command of escort detail, while Cahoone, Jackson, and I formed a rearguard. We followed the convoy at minus-1-waypoint distance to avoid inceptors from our rear. We came across a lone Gaian vessel, logistical in nature, and the vessel remained in-cruise and maintained longer-distance. Suggest sending to LSF or Bounty Hunters for follow-up.

House Space remained mostly clear, with the convoy proceeding to Texas, and then back to Pennsylvania, without any issues. Upon exiting Pennsylvania, our rearguard wing spotted a lone Orca-class gunboat, callsign Hitman-??. Ship flagged as a hostile on the transponder but the pilot showed no signs of malice. Captain of the vessel refused to provide their name or formal identification, stating it was "Classified". Said they were part of a now-dormant "Hitman Agency", in the pilot's own words "an extremist sect of the Bounty Hunters Guild."

The vessel indicated they were bound for Kusari. With the Admiral's permission, our rearguard broke off from the main convoy to ensure this vessel was leaving Liberty as indicated. The vessel left from New York to Colorado, where it cruised into the Copperton Field, seemingly bound for the entrance to Kepler. Our squadron kept their distance, only staying close enough to ensure it did successfully exit the system.

Although the pilot showed no signs of hostilities, other than a seemingly faulty transponder, suggest we keep tabs on that specific Orca-class vessel, and anyone else claiming to be a part of the "Hitman Agency". Perhaps they were former criminals with a healthy disrespect for the law, but their motives were unclear at best. Request we communicate with the Liberty Security Force for a further investigation. A ship being openly bound for Kusari while deep in Liberty Space is cause for concern given our current standing with the Kusarians.

Admiral Uhmen oversaw the rest of the convoy from the front, and all vessels departed to Manchester safely per her communications. My Defender is undergoing repairs at Norfolk. Once complete, I will be headed to Colorado per 46th Fleet standing directives. Communication logs and confirmations are below.
