Ah yes, I've read about the issues back then.

I was a green Lieutenant in the Armed Forces when that occurred. Before I knew the Intelligence Service existed even, before I realised the scale of the issues humanity faced. I remember there was uproar as Rheinland vessels were picked up in Cambridge. Times were simpler, knowing what I did then.

So, what you're saying is that Rheinland is proficient when it comes to ridding themselves of the Nomad menace? I may have been biased given my previous experience with them, as I did not expect to be reading this. Given my experience of having my officers pass information across my desk that a marked Rheinland Military transport was smuggling alien organisms through Leeds, New London and Cambridge, I was somewhat on the other side of the fence. However, given you have far more experience with them, and my experience was a one time affair, I'll defer to you.

I am understandably puzzled on what to do with the information you provided, and my officers recovered from Tohoku. It is very troubling. I'm sure you no doubt know about the closeness between Kusari and Bretonia following the onslaught with Gallia. Troubling.

While I won't pass on where suspicions came from, I can always claim that my concerns came from the leaked jump drive information that my techs have gone over. The influence that the Intelligence Service once held is somewhat lacking... Sometimes it feels as though I'm talking to myself. But no matter, we'll find a way.

Now, to more pressing matters. Since our last communication, we have had some of your operatives making their way through Bretonia, markings denoted they were 'EV', whatever that is. They were followed and allowed to pass by my officers. However... Seems my warnings of the LSF were well founded. Sensors picked up five LSF vessels, with LSF IFF's fully on display for the world to see, breach Leeds to hassle your lot. Sadly all my intelligence vessel could do was to warn then to leave the area, which they ignored. These vessels belonged to the Liberty Security Squadron, a known group hostile to Bretonian officials, I believe it was our very own CDI who had issues with them last time. I will do what I can to prevent this in future, but being this brazen, something is going on. Would you say there may be a thrall issue in the Liberty forces? Or is that me being too cautious?

I'd also like to say thank you for the most gracious gift, while it is a shame they don't work in space, I can understand there are too many variables to work effectively, they will be a fantastic tool in the fight against the alien menace that threatens us all. I feel rather rude, as I don't have anything so shiny to give you in return. Perhaps some information would be valuable?
