Summary of session three of the Akabat Summit in 836 AS

The next topic on the agenda for the summit was the likely upcoming war between Liberty and Kusari presented by the leader of the Eclipse Vanguard, General Milo. Several points were raised in the opening statements; some of the representatives had a vested interest in ‘their respective House’ being weakened, the plight of the Militants in Pennsylvania and the prioritizing of striking infected targets.

One point however was awkwardly phrased; “The Order is opening to do coordinated strikes with Liberty against Kusari on infected targets.” Causing an uproar among the representatives, accusations of the Order backstabbing its allies by siding with a House, picking sides and abandoning years of cooperation to replace its allies with forces from the Houses like the LSF.

Eventually order was slowly restored when Admiral Solandros elaborated that the intention was to observe the war between the two Houses and strike at the infected targets while they kept each other busy, going so far as to suggest that local allies like the Blood Dragons could leak information to the House intelligence agencies of the opposing House.
While this reasoning was initially met with resistance and claims of ‘damage control’, eventually the representatives accepted to take the Admirals words for now and let the Orders actions going forward speak for themselves. It was clear that the Order was now under heavier scrutiny from its allies than before however.

The presence of Gallic representatives was called into question as well and while the answers of the Order to justify it did not satisfy the other representatives it was eventually agreed that letting an entire House fall to the Nomads was not an acceptable enough cost to deviate further from the agenda.

Next Admiral Solandros requested the representatives from Liberty provide their assessment on the Militant movement in Pennsylvania. Alliance Commander Morreti of the Xeno Alliance was the first to respond, indicating that the movement was splintered and without strong leadership was at risk of effectively falling apart without direct intervention in the form of support. Furthermore the risk existed that they might fall under the influence of the Nomads and the infected was prominent; the growing desperation could lead them to accept help from wherever it might come from. Lady Cross, to the surprise of some, spoke up just as the recess started, indicating that perhaps some under the support support would be possible.
