With the New London Summit starting, we escorted defense minister Rüdiger Steube and his entourage aboard the KKS-Kaiserin Leicht to the Bretonian capital. Upon arrival in Omega-3 we were greeted by vessels of the BAF and CDI, which joined us on our escort. Unfortunately, it did not turn out to be the peaceful voyage we all expected it to be as we were soon ambushed by numerous Hessian and Coalition ships. They did not wait long and attacked us. Naturally, we defended the minister together with our Bretonian allies. We soon received reinforcements from our own, as well as additional ships from the BAF. Sadly, the Hessians also received additional reinforcements from the Mollys.
Together with our allies we managed to slowly whittle the enemies down so that the KKS-Kaiserin Leicht could safely move towards its destination. Defense Minister Steube safely arrived in New London for the summit, albeit a little bit delayed due to the aforementioned ambush. Intelligence needs to do a better job in the future, this could have easily turned into a disaster.
The escort will remain in Bretonia for the duration of the summit unless instructed otherwise.
