OVERVIEW
With the prospect of war on the horizon with Kusari, the Liberty Navy has sought to reinforce its already significant military prowess by issuing the reactivation order of mothballed assets. Taking into account the technology possessed by the rival House, a larger fleet that is able to rapidly respond to internal threats was now seen as a strategic imperative.
One vessel in particular, the Battleship Minneapolis, was deactivated following the Insurgency Campaign, and has remained mothballed at Norfolk Shipyard since. This vessel has received just such a call to return to service, and is set to undergo an immediate reactivation process. The Navy is bringing this relatively young warship back into service with the ambition of reinforcing Liberty military interests both in Colorado and in New York.
Minneapolis requires maintenance and the relevant upgrade packages to bring her up to date with the rest of the fleet. The Liberty Navy has decided to call upon its faithful ally Bretonia, by requesting the return of remaining parts and specialist plant machinery provided during the wartime Lend Lease operation. for the maintenance of Liberty capital ships. These are now being uninstalled from Portsmouth Shipyard, and prepared for export to Liberty.
In return, Liberty has offered specialty modular Avionics and Interior components for Bretonia's own efforts to modernize its fleet, driven by fears of a resurgent Gallia. To source these components, the Liberty Navy has prepared a shortlist of approved defense contractors who are authorized to participate in the project.
It has been determined to conduct a joint exercise between the Bretonian Armed Forces (BAF) and the Liberty Navy [LN] to conduct a rapid-scale logistical operation with the aims of rapidly stockpiling the necessary raw material to speed up the subsequent deployment of the Minneapolis. However, there are risks involved in this operation. The increased military traffic through the adjoining systems is likely to draw the attention of pirates, militants, and such, who may wish to try their luck at obtaining some of these military supplies to further their own respective causes.
The planned operation is to be conducted between Portsmouth Shipyard in Cambridge, with the intended destination being Norfolk Shipyard within the New York system. Convoys of heavily armed and protected merchant ships are expected.

OUTCOME
Following several weeks of high intensity industrial and logistics activity, Operation SARTORIAL has concluded.
With Norfolk now flush with the additional Lend Lease-era plant machinery imported from Bretonia, the shipyard is operating at peak operational capability. The newly integrated tooling has been sufficient to finalise the reactivation work on the Battleship Minneapolis.
The mighty vessel is expected to depart its berth within the next few days, for a shakedown cruise around New York. On completing these trials, final adjustments will be completed at Norfolk before it assumes its place at the head of the newly constituted Minneapolis fleet in Colorado.
Most importantly, Liberty's military-civilian logistics partnerships have had the opportunity to blow off the cobwebs and flex muscles that have gone untested since the end of the Gallic War. Despite initial hiccups, the operation's rousing success has sent an unmistakable message to onlooking powers.
