Reporting an incident near West Point Military Academy. During a routine cargo scan of a passing Junkers IFF frigate, identified as the John Paul, I discovered goods, namely black market arms and slog. The frigate's captain tried to evade the matter, citing personal use and a "medical condition," but the laws regarding such cargo are clear.
I disabled the trade lane and, with the help of LSF Agent Patricia Woods, ensured that the illegal cargo was confiscated and transported for disposal. Given Junker's cooperation and the small amount of illegal cargo, I released the frigate without the fine this time.
Agent Woods and I had a brief conversation about my bomber before I returned for its scheduled inspection. I shall continue its evaluation and testing.

[15.04.2026 06:24:16] John.Paul: Hail navy
[15.04.2026 06:24:24] Patricia.Woods: Interesting stuff, there.
[15.04.2026 06:24:25] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "You are carrying illegal goods."
[15.04.2026 06:24:35] John.Paul: Mostly copper, what illigal goods?
[15.04.2026 06:24:42] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Don't play dumb with me."
[15.04.2026 06:24:47] Patricia.Woods: The arms and the brew, bub.
[15.04.2026 06:24:53] Patricia.Woods: Back away from the lane.
[15.04.2026 06:25:10] John.Paul: Oi thats for personal use
[15.04.2026 06:25:16] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "You are to drop the illegal cargo."
[15.04.2026 06:25:18] John.Paul: I've got a medical condition
[15.04.2026 06:25:31] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "There are no exceptions for these."
[15.04.2026 06:25:34] Patricia.Woods: Then hire a doctor.
[15.04.2026 06:25:40] John.Paul: Fine Fine
[15.04.2026 06:26:01] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Slog, too."
[15.04.2026 06:26:03] Patricia.Woods: The brew as well.
[15.04.2026 06:26:15] John.Paul: Slog is illigal in Liberty?
[15.04.2026 06:26:28] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Happens to be."
[15.04.2026 06:26:43] John.Paul: Bloody hell
[15.04.2026 06:26:52] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Alright. That seems to be all."
[15.04.2026 06:27:04] John.Paul: Can I go now? or you want my Coffee table too
[15.04.2026 06:27:10] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "I will let you go without the fine this time."
[15.04.2026 06:27:15] Patricia.Woods: Nah, the table's legal.
[15.04.2026 06:27:23] Patricia.Woods: Take some time to refresh on the books.
[15.04.2026 06:27:25] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Next time we might have less pleasant talk."
[15.04.2026 06:27:37] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Thank you for assisting, LSF."
[15.04.2026 06:27:41] Patricia.Woods: Sure thing.
[15.04.2026 06:28:17] 2026-04-15 06:28:16 SMT Traffic control alert: Patricia.Woods has docked
[15.04.2026 06:29:33] Patricia.Woods: Snag one of those from the confiscation stocks?
[15.04.2026 06:29:47] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Hm? The ship?"
[15.04.2026 06:29:50] Patricia.Woods: Mhm.
[15.04.2026 06:30:13] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Some new development, I think. Didn't ask questions, really."
[15.04.2026 06:30:24] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Works fine, all that matters."
[15.04.2026 06:31:20] Patricia.Woods: Just wasn't sure we were letting those out of Zone 21.
[15.04.2026 06:32:02] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Seems like we do. I requested a bomber, got this instead of the Upholder."
[15.04.2026 06:32:15] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Can't complain."
[15.04.2026 06:32:31] Patricia.Woods: So it's on the regular rotation, then?
[15.04.2026 06:33:01] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Not sure. Didn't saw a lot of these around. Hell, didn't saw them at all. I might be one of the lucky few."
[15.04.2026 06:33:22] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "No better tests than in the field, I guess."
[15.04.2026 06:33:39] Patricia.Woods: Here's hoping it's not a trend.
[15.04.2026 06:34:00] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Why? If it's effective, we should use it."
[15.04.2026 06:35:00] Patricia.Woods: Besides Libertine and BDR lodging complaints with the uppers, it doesn't exactly send the signal we'd prefer.
[15.04.2026 06:35:46] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Ah, worried about the image? I think we have bigger things of concern right now, being frank."
[15.04.2026 06:36:00] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Kusari, for one."
[15.04.2026 06:36:22] Patricia.Woods: Image is everything in the new information age.
[15.04.2026 06:36:34] Patricia.Woods: Take Kusari, then.
[15.04.2026 06:36:51] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Can't have any image if war is lost."
[15.04.2026 06:37:04] Patricia.Woods: They see us using that technology, sourced from beyond Liberty.
[15.04.2026 06:37:28] Patricia.Woods: They spread that around, flagging it with all sorts of terms, true or no.
[15.04.2026 06:38:05] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "They can do that with a lot of things."
[15.04.2026 06:38:22] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "No reason to handicap ourselves in military sense just because of that."
[15.04.2026 06:38:28] Patricia.Woods: Yes, but not many things are The Order.
[15.04.2026 06:38:50] Patricia.Woods: There's a reason the Houses agreed to consider them a terrorist organization.
[15.04.2026 06:39:00] Patricia.Woods: It's not exactly their friendly demeanor.
[15.04.2026 06:39:09] Patricia.Woods: Or their track record.
[15.04.2026 06:39:19] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Perhaps you're right."
[15.04.2026 06:39:31] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Still, I don't decide these things."
[15.04.2026 06:39:58] Patricia.Woods: Of course not, and I'm not saying you have to requisition a new vessel.
[15.04.2026 06:40:08] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "They give me a gun, and I'm shooting in the direction they're pointing."
[15.04.2026 06:40:11] Patricia.Woods: Beyond the fact that I'm in no position to make such a demand.
[15.04.2026 06:40:49] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Don't think it's going to be a trend, though."
[15.04.2026 06:41:03] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Thing is heavy. Too heavy for most, I'd think."
[15.04.2026 06:41:08] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Slow."
[15.04.2026 06:41:20] Patricia.Woods: Then hopefully the damage to Liberty's image will be minimal to negligent.
[15.04.2026 06:42:03] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Hopefully. Can't really tell. Never really thought about these things."
[15.04.2026 06:42:19] Patricia.Woods: You're Navy. I'm not too surprised.
[15.04.2026 06:42:30] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Mhm. We all got our roles."
[15.04.2026 06:42:34] Patricia.Woods: Exactly.
[15.04.2026 06:42:54] Patricia.Woods: Don't think I'm demeaning your position, naturally. Liberty needs her soldiers.
[15.04.2026 06:43:22] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "I don't really hold any illusions. I'm just a grunt. Happy to be one, actually. Keeps things simple."
[15.04.2026 06:43:28] Patricia.Woods: But social unrest is already something of concern. Best not to test the waters without a sturdy boat.
[15.04.2026 06:44:35] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Suppose so. Though if you ask me, we should just..."
[15.04.2026 06:44:54] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Put the troublemakers down for good."
[15.04.2026 06:45:15] Patricia.Woods: Couldn't agree more, though we have to ensure that we're doing it correctly.
[15.04.2026 06:45:32] Patricia.Woods: In the manner that causes the least offset.
[15.04.2026 06:46:01] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "As long as that doesn't take too much time. Every day wasted on pondering is a day they can grow and fester."
[15.04.2026 06:46:12] Patricia.Woods: Stifling unrest that only causes more unrest is an ouroboros that is hard to pull out of.
[15.04.2026 06:46:58] Patricia.Woods: The fact that Erie's governor has done as well as he has with the time and resources he has is impressive to say the least.
[15.04.2026 06:47:16] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Sooner or later people who are willing to throw their lives and freedoms away should run out."
[15.04.2026 06:47:30] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Then it's going to end."
[15.04.2026 06:47:35] Patricia.Woods: 'Resistance fatigue'.
[15.04.2026 06:47:58] Patricia.Woods: It's just a matter of carefully measuring the accumulation with the dieoff.
[15.04.2026 06:48:26] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "I suppose its for you and yours to do that kind of math."
[15.04.2026 06:48:32] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Gonna trust you with that."
[15.04.2026 06:48:43] Patricia.Woods: It's the kind of math we're good at.
[15.04.2026 06:49:19] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "And when you're done with the math and need a hammer, we're gonna be there."
[15.04.2026 06:49:43] Patricia.Woods: Hopefully, we'll save that hammer for Kusari.
[15.04.2026 06:50:02] Patricia.Woods: Liberty needs you, but in a capacity that better suits your skills.
[15.04.2026 06:50:18] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "It is reusable. As long as Liberty needs it."
[15.04.2026 06:50:52] Patricia.Woods: Just don't wear the hammer down. One can only repair their tools so many times.
[15.04.2026 06:51:08] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Can always make a new one."
[15.04.2026 06:51:18] Patricia.Woods: That takes time, and more importantly resources.
[15.04.2026 06:51:58] Patricia.Woods: Liberty can spend them, but it's always better to fight smarter, not harder.
[15.04.2026 06:52:16] Patricia.Woods: Some resources are finite. Better not to test which ones.
[15.04.2026 06:52:22] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Aye. That's why I'm not flying randomly in border worlds picking fights with all sorts of scumbags right now, I guess."
[15.04.2026 06:52:45] Patricia.Woods: A better use of your time and skills, and craft.
[15.04.2026 06:53:17] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Sometimes it does feel like the wait never ends, though."
[15.04.2026 06:53:39] Patricia.Woods: One past the blockade?
[15.04.2026 06:53:52] Patricia.Woods: Wonders never cease.
[15.04.2026 06:53:55] ITV-Adventure.Galley.II: McFarlen: Back-order, would you believe it?
[15.04.2026 06:54:04] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Hm."
[15.04.2026 06:54:24] ITV-Adventure.Galley.II: McFarlen: No convincing some folks. Still, I'll take the luck where it's coming.
[15.04.2026 06:54:33] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Well, at least its not slog."
[15.04.2026 06:54:47] Patricia.Woods: Better the luck not run out.
[15.04.2026 06:55:00] Patricia.Woods: But I know better than to count on luck.
[15.04.2026 06:55:08] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Anyway. Was a pleasant chat, agent. But I'll have to report for regular check up of this vessel."
[15.04.2026 06:55:08] Patricia.Woods: Liberty knows better.
[15.04.2026 06:55:14] Patricia.Woods: Roger that.
[15.04.2026 06:55:25] Patricia.Woods: It's been a moment, pilot.
[15.04.2026 06:55:32] [LN]-Jack.Kelso.: "Good luck out there, hopefully we'll run into each other again sometime."
[15.04.2026 06:55:36] Patricia.Woods: Hopefully that ship serves you well.
