Incoming Transmission

Secure Connection, via Falkirk Communications.

Identification - Ashers, B.
Recipient - Fujisaka Ki, IKN-Komori

Well,

Our archivists have been able to pull some files that may be of use to your investigation. However, short of a diplomatic request via the Home Office, I won't be able to release them to you in their entirety.

I will share what I can, as it seems could be pulled into hot water if I do not.

From what I can deduce from the records of Colonel Daniel Alexander, they were a diplomatic attaché with the Exiles due to his background in linguistics and formal studies on Kusari history. I can also see that they studied at the New Tokyo University for a few years of their studies.

It would seem that at some point he was attached to the Battleship Matsamoto, where he worked closely with the late Admiral in an advisory role on behalf of Bretonia. Returning home in 824 AS, after the liberation of Leeds. That's all I should be sharing, unfortunately.

Given what you've told me, and from what I've found myself, I'd put money on the sword being a gift to the late Admiral. Given their close working environment, I'm sure a friendship would have developed. Obviously, this is my own deduction. The inscription, I cannot say.

I hope this can be of some use to you.

Ashers out.

Transmission Ends
