I did not fully understand. Did you have your issue resolved just to be sure, and everything is functioning all right now? Does it work according to your expectations now?
I tried to say that after all the steps you suggested, and when my accounts selected/active the game asks me to create another account again and there are no ships, nothing.
Sad. Okay at this point i can offer only the next choice of helping then.
You can try sending me your accounts (in private msg of course) and i could try restoring through your backup if it will work.
