I never expected to hear internal bickering like a pack of monkeys throwing shit at each other. That’s what the Zoner Summit is for. Lisa, have you lost your mind?
First off, Phoenix is not a platform for debate. We have a strict chain of command; everyone answers to their department, and ultimately, to the Eclessia Council and its Leader. I’m curious where this line of thinking even came from - did someone whisper it in your ear? Just so you know, security is already on its way to your location to interrogation. But let’s assume for a second you actually think this is a 'good idea'. Either you’ve had too much sangria with your new 'friends', or you’re on their payroll acting as an inside agent.
Freeport 9 only ever existed because the Corsairs found it convenient. Zoners from all over Sirius brought goods right to their doorstep, essentially serving their every need. It was a win - win for everyone. But the turbulence started long before they stormed the place, when our group had been named Zoners Trading Cosortium which ultimately pushed us into more paranoid, militaric minded Omicroners. They tried to seize the station multiple times. Every time, we forgave them and continued ‘business as usual’, turning a blind eye to who they really are. We chalked it up to low IQ and hot tempers - maybe they just soak up more radiation than the rest of us.
But everything changed in a heartbeat. Their 'brilliant' plan resulted in the slaughter of our brothers and sisters and the fall of the station. They crossed the point of no return. After giving them more chances than I can count, 'business as usual' is off the table. We demand our property back. Every offer I’ve made to their leader still stands: they can park as many ships as they want around Freeport 9 and block whatever traffic they dislike, but the station returns to our control. We will not fuel their mad quest against us. Whether it’s Livadia, Pygar, or Freeport 11 - they are the enemy. And they’ll find us armed to the teeth. So put it simple - despite growing danger in the Omicrons we can't rely on a group that taking partnership as weakness and trying to take part of the pie whenever they feel ready. We have much more reliable, time-proven partners and allies.
Regardless, debating our foreign policy is not your prerogative. Even suggesting we forgive DTR’s sins borders on cowardice or treason. If I were Jonathan, I’d have you taking a walk around Kadesh without a spacesuit to help you put two and two together. You’re lucky I’m now an advisor and administrator of Kadesh Orbital City. Currently we can overlook your ignorance for now, our patience is not infinite. Consider it as the last warning.
