The faction is unofficial at the moment. If and when I decide to shovel up 500 million credits to the admins, it may become official - right now that's not my intent.

Anyways, as to the harvesters - their initial contact with humans took place with junkers in omega 15, and that's their primary staging ground. Harvesters and Junkers share a mutually beneficial alliance - they protect us and give us some firepower to back our influence with, and in turn we offer them bases to dock at and we repair their ships. It's been that way for a long time, long before this faction idea came up.

Now, considering our operating area is rheinland space, there really shouldnt ever be outcasts involved. Omega 15 and some of our other operating systems are patrolled frequently by corsairs, who keep the outcasts out of that part of space.

If an outcast or some other faction member did come along and attack a harvester, chances are we would stay out of the fight (junkers arent generally direct-combat fighters). If there is any threat to a junker station or ship, we will assist - otherwise we'll be more likely to sit around and wait for someone to die so we can salvage whatever their ship leaves behind.
